What a whirlwind trip! Amy’s Form 5 class went to the Roosevelt, Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials. We stood in the exact spot from which Dr. King delivered his famous “I Have A Dream” speech. We visited all three branches of government and were in front of the White House while President Obama was meeting with the presidents of Afganistan and Pakistan! (And all of this isn’t even the half of it!) In short, the class had many memorable experiences and gained first-hand knowledge of the US Capitol.
